1.

Early Assessment of Medical and Legal Risk

MD For Accuracy performs rapid case triage by reviewing the facts, medical records, and  sequence of care to:

• Evaluate whether patient harm may lead to successful litigation from a medical perspective

• Clarify the medical narrative and timeline

• Assess the likelihood of medically credible defensibility

Delivers an unbiased, physician-driven risk analysis—before legal costs accrue.

2.

Early Assessment of Patient Harm

A physician expert and team members, which may include non-physician experts, evaluates:

• What actual harm occurred (vs. expected outcomes)

• The relationship between care and harm

• Whether harm was preventable or likely an unfortunate unavoidable outcome

• Review documentation to determine clinical condition and projected long-term implications

• Life Expectancy / Life Care Planning Review to provide input or second opinions on life care plans, costs, and appropriateness of proposed treatments

• Independent Medical Exams

Supports claims teams in assessing potential exposure and in communicating effectively with  patients, families, and insurers.

3.

Determining Whether the Standard of Care Was Breached

MD For Accuracy’s subspecialists review the care through the lens of current standards:

• Identify deviations in clinical judgment or technical execution

• Differentiate between poor outcomes and negligence

• Provide early, defensible opinions on breach (or not)

Allows early decision-making about settlement, disclosure, or litigation.
